I really thought I knew Theresa having first met her when the family moved to Lark Rise some 30 odd years ago. However after attending a wonderful service and tribute to Theresa I realised I never knew Theresa as much as I thought I did. I knew her as a friend, a daughter to Ann and Dick, a sister to Pat and Mandy and as A loving wife to Chris and a doting mother to her boys David and Connor. What I did not know was the courage and the fortitude Theresa showed when being diagnosed and then ultimately facing her fate. I was so touched at the funeral to see so many people there of all ages talking about how strong Theresa was and how much she helped everyone. Theresa where ever you are I would like to say you are one hell of a lady and it was my honour to know you. Til we meet again may you rest in peace.
